Issue of Receipts
The date of the receipt will not be the date you applied to make your donation or when the payment made by credit card is transferred from your account. It will be the day the donation is transferred to an ICU account. When you make a donation with your credit card, the date of the receipt will be the day the credit card company transfers the payment to an ICU account. If you make your credit card donation in December, for example, the date on the receipt would be of the following year. Please note that your tax exemption for the donation will be for the following year.
A receipt will be delivered to you about a month after we receive the donation. Please note that this may take some extra time before and after summer/ winter break. If you are making a recurring monthly donation, we will issue one receipt for the total amount donated that year, which will be sent to you in mid-January of the following year.

Recurring Donations
Recurring donations (donation once a year or month) will be renewed automatically unless we have instructions to discontinue your donation.
Please notify the address below if you wish to change the purpose or amount of the donation or discontinue the process.
Please note that when your credit card expires, we will not automatically renew your recurring donation, and your donation will stop. In this case, please follow the renewal procedure that we will be sending to you by e-mail.

Bank transfer date of recurring donations
<In case of credit card>
The donation you applied for will be transferred from your account on the settlement date as stipulated in the credit card company regulations, as with all your other transactions made with that credit card. For recurring donations, the date of transfer will be the date you made your application.
Please confirm the account statement sent to you from your credit card company.

■Recurring annual donation
 The donation will be transferred every year on the date of your application.
(Example: If you apply to make a donation on May 10, the first of your recurring donations will be transferred on that date, and this will recur every year on May 10.)

■Recurring monthly donation
 The donation will be transferred every month on the date of your application.
(Example: If you apply to make a donation on May 10, the first of your recurring donations will be transferred on that date, and this will recur on the 10th every month.)
 Please note that if you make your application at the end of the month, and that day does not exist the following month, the transfer will take place on the last day of the month. (Example: If you make your application on May 31st, the transfer will take place on the 30th in June.)

<In case of automatic withdrawal>
The amount you donated will be transferred via the payment agency (GMO Payment Gateway) from the account you notified to us on the automatic withdrawal form. Monthly/ yearly donations by automatic withdrawal will take place around the 27th on a business day of the payment agency.
